Taking a Moment to Stop, Breathe and Reflect

Life is busy.

Work is stressful. 

There are never enough hours in the day.

The weekends couldn’t come around quick enough. 

And some weeks are even more manic than others.


But what can we do when these weeks/months do happen?


How often do you take the time to just stop, breathe and reflect?


I took some time to reflect over the last 6 months. I looked back through my diary and wrote down everything I’d done. It was such a therapeutic exercise and was exactly what I needed. 


Reflecting back can really remind you of ALL the things you have achieved & things you’ve done.


You can see how much progress you’ve made.


It allows you time to just pause and take a break from a busy life.


How will I use this going forward?

  • It’s okay to say no or ‘not right now’

  • Reconsider boundaries & allow ‘me’ time

  • Be proud of what you’ve achieved


Try it. Try and find 15 minutes to stop, breath and reflect.
